Netherlands Innovation Network

The Netherlands Innovation Network (“Innovatie Attaché Netwerk” in Dutch) stimulates international cooperation between companies, knowledge institutes and governments in the fields of innovation, technology and science. We operate in 17 countries with a strong innovation capacity and/or potential. The network aims to strengthen the innovation capabilities of the Netherlands by providing knowledge about developments and trends around the world in the field of innovation, technology and science. “Connecting Innovation Worldwide”.

Knowledge about innovation, technology and science developments

The network connects stakeholders from the Netherlands to knowledge about innovation, technology and science developments around the world. Information is provided via reports, articles, social media and one-on-one conversations.

Activities and events

We facilitate (innovation) missions, technical workshops, matchmaking events and knowledge transfer. Services and matchmaking opportunities are being provided in order to stimulate international cooperation.

Funding mechanisms

The Netherlands Innovation Network identifies funding mechanisms and projects for bi- and multilateral cooperation, such as the EU’s Horizon2020 funding program, Globalstars and other research programs, etc.

We support companies, knowledge institutes and governments to realize their international innovation, technology and science ambitions.

The Netherlands is home to some of the most innovative companies in the world, such as Philips, ASML, and DSM, as well as internationally renowned universities and research institutes, such as TU/Delft, TU/Eindhoven, Wageningen University & Research and TNO.

GATEWAY TO EUROPE

The European Union is promoting cooperation with Taiwan through several incentives, including the Horizon Europe 2021-2027 followed by the Horizon Europe program. Taiwan had been designated as one of the eligible participants. In addition, the European Research Council offers opportunities for Taiwanese researchers to obtain funding and support. The Netherlands serves as gateway to European incentives and programs.

The Netherlands Innovation Network is part of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). The Netherlands Enterprise Agency stimulates entrepreneurs in sustainable, agricultural, innovative and international business. It aims to improve opportunities for entrepreneurs, strengthen their position and help them realize their international ambitions with funding, networking, know-how and compliance with laws and regulations.
